I'm shallow.Īll in all, I enjoyed the series. ![]() It was actually the cover of Into the Fire, book 2 of Vatta's Peace (chronologically set after Vatta's War), that finally made me look for the first book and start reading. Initially, I kept confusing Elizabeth Moon and Elizabeth Bear, and since I DNFed Range of Ghosts and had trouble getting into Ancestral Night by Bear, it took me longer than it should have to pick up Trading in Danger, book 1 of Vatta's War by Elizabeth Moon. ![]()
